Growing Community
Team Wallsdeep was informally founded in 2021 when Alex and Nathan heard the whispers of Drift Indy Street League (DISL) introducing team based competition. Though only 2 drivers, who enjoyed driving together and learning from each other, they wanted to be a part of a greater whole. Over the '22 and '23 seasons, Craig and Ryan started joining the tandems and were brought into the fold.
Team Wallsdeep is now a collective of four misfits yearning to drive better and harder. We're here to display that no matter your background, age, or mechanical ability, that those with the passion for drifting can become shredders!
Competitive Drive
While drifting is first and foremost for fun and a form of self expression, all seat time at the track is an opportunity for growth. Hundreds of laps and hours at the track over the last 6 years has inspired us to be a part of the grassroots "competitive" drifting scene.
Alex has competed in DISL volumes 1, 2, 3 , & 5 as a top 32 driver, and in the DISL Lites / Prelims in volumes 7, 8, 9, & 10.
Nathan has also competed in the Lites / Prelims of the series.
Our "game time jitters" have been our biggest enemies but we're learning to shake those off.
PARTY, PARTY, PARTY!
Our home organization and track is Drift Indy at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, OH.
This is where we started.
Drift Indy hosts events with a huge amount of seat time as well as nurturing drivers' progression through their drift clinics. We've had the honor of getting one-on-one instruction from the DI team's staff as well as guest instructor and Formula Drift champion, Chelsea DeNofa.
We plan to attend all (or as many as our budget allows) Drift Indy events for the 2024 season. Other events may be added or substituted as time and funding is available.
We're regular working stiffs like the rest of you.
